Planned Parenthood lies to women

I so heartily applaud the Susan G. Komen Foundation for finally severing ties with Planned Parenthood.

That the cure for breast cancer was being supported by one of the entities that causes breast cancer...it defied logic! How could they be SO blind?

Well, when the miscreant pulling the wool over your eyes is assuring you it's only itchy because it's made of cotton, then I guess...no- I really can't make sense of it. I'm just glad someone at Komen finally pulled their heads out of their-- it's like that scene in the Lord of the Rings, when Gandalf lashes out at Wormtongue and rescues King Theoden from a stupor.

Planned Parenthood is Wormtongue and all the people who thought they were doing something good when they wore the pink ribbon are like King Theoden, and the new Vice-President of Komen is like Gandalf, yanking the pink ribbon back into reality and the Culture of Life.

Catholic Sistas reports: "Planned Parenthood has long tried to deflect criticism for receiving money from Komen by claiming their grants go to provide breast health services, including mammograms. That the abortion provider does not, in fact, provide mammograms at all was confirmed last year by Live Action, a prolife group based in San Jose, Calif. Live Action members contacted 30 Planned Parenthood clinics in 27 states and discovered that not one provided mammograms and that few even provide basic breast cancer screening. (Interestingly enough, Planned Parenthood’s own Annual Reports have shown that breast exams have actually decreased at the organization since it began receiving money from Komen.)"
